Exceptions to program days and holidays:
Each class must have a minimum of
10 students enrolled for attendance. If minimum students are not enrolled
by start date, the class will be postponed until the following start date.
Students enrolled in a postponed class may be refunded the enrollment
fee. Tuition is paid on the class start date only.
Holidays observed are: Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New
Year’s Day.
School Policies covering: Leave, Absences, Make-up Work, Tardiness, Termination of Enrollment, Refunds and Grades
Leaves and Absences: Students must inform the Academy when the student will be absent. Days may be made up by arrangements with the instructor or Saturday make-up days. All make-up work must be approved and authorized by the instructor. Arrangements must be made at least 2 days in advance. There are no excused or non-excused absences. You must complete the full required hours. No certificate will be given to student until all hours have been completed and all requirements have been met. Should student have to leave during the course for any reason the student may make up those hours during the next class dates. Tuition and enrollment fees are valid for up to 6 months from enrollment date.
Tardiness: Students are expected to arrive within 5 minutes from class start time. No admittance will be allowed into class after the 1st hour of class has gone by, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Academy. All tardy hours must be made up on make up days or with arrangements by the instructor.
Termination of enrollment: If for any reason a student threatens, assaults, or harms any student or instructor, the student will be immediately expelled with a prorated refund given back to student (less enrollment fee) Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Grading systems: Students enrolled in the 60 hour Pre-Licensure Real Estate Class will have a final test that requires a 70% passing score. No certificates will be administered without a passing exam score. (Explanation: 60 Hour Pre-Licensure Section) Arkansas Real Estate Academy wants you to succeed. These prep tests are designed to do so.
Refund Policy: A
full refund of tuition and enrollment fee will be given back to student
that cancels within 72 hours (until midnight of the 3rd day excluding
Saturdays, Sundays, and Legal Holidays) after the date the enrollment
fee has been paid and application has been signed. The school shall make
all refunds to the student within 10 business days after the student has
withdrawn or is terminated from school. The effective date of the termination
for refund purposes shall be the last date of attendance. All enrollment
fees are non-refundable if student fails to cancel within the 72 hours.
A refund for a student who withdraws or is terminated after classes begin
goes as follows:
60 Hour Pre-license: Days 1-9: All days are prorated at $39.00 a day for
tuition. The 9th and final day no refunds will be given to student. (Exp:
2 days attendance: Student Owes: $78.00 Refund $272.00)
30 Hour Broker Post License:
Student owes $50.00 a day for tuition. (Exp: 2 Days attendance:
Student owes: $100.00 Refund: $50.00)
18 Hour Salesperson Post License: This is a 2 day course
at $75.00 a day for tuition. If student attends 1 day only, the maximum
refund is $75.00.
6 Hour CE Real Estate: A full refund of $25.00 of tuition
and $25.00 enrollment fee will be given back to the student with a 3 day
written notice only.
